Town Clean Up

Town Clean Up will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. located at the Funkstown Community Park on Robert Kline Way at the end of the road by Pavilion #3.

This service is available only to Funkstown residents and/or a water/sewer customer.  Proof of identification will be required – driver’s license, water bill.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

Non-acceptable items:

Construction and Building Material, Propane tanks, Tires, Batteries, Yard Waste, Dirt, Rocks, and Tree Trimmings, Concrete Materials, Paint, Gasoline, Oil, and other inflammables, and hazardous waste.

Horizon Goodwill Industries will be attending the Town Cleanup on Saturday, May 28th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will have a box truck with two attendants to help with your donations. We would like to help remove as much as possible from the landfill and to sell at our stores to pay for our mission programs. These programs include temporary and permanent housing for adults and youth, as well as funding employment opportunities and training for Washington County residents. 

They can accept: Clothing/Outerwear, Accessories, Linens and Textiles, Housewares, Electronics, Art and Antiques, Furniture, Computers, Books/Multimedia, Sports Equipment, Toys, Vehicles, Baby gear, Musical Instruments, Magazines/Cardboard, and all metals.  All items must be clean, and free of tears, stains, pet hair, and odors. If you’re not sure if we can take it, just ask!
