Christmas

Christmas is right around the corner. It is my hope that all of the residents of town are prepared for the wonderful day. The Old Tyme Christmas web tab has been updated to show all the winners from that event. It has brought to my attention that the star on the town tree has one point out. It is not like we put it up that way but it is very fitting as it is located at the monument dedicated to the servicemen of our home town. Please take a minute each day and say a prayer for all of the service personal at home and abroad for all of the work that they have done for this great country. Ask that each one has a safe return home if possible for the holidays. We may be a small community but we have a large heart.

Also keep an eye out for the Grinch’s out there at night. There has been a lot of vandalism in the park area in the last couple of days that will cost the town a few hundred in repairs as well as a few vehicles that have been broken into and items have been taken. “If you see something, Say something” will go along way in helping to curb these problems before they hit you as well. We have increased the police presents in town but they can not be every were all the time so we need your help. Thanks

Merry Christmas and happy New Year!!

Funkstown Olde Tyme Christmas
