Due to Veteran’s Day being acknowledged on Monday, November 12th, the Mayor and Council meeting has been moved to Monday, November 19th at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall.

Are you an Eagle, an Elk or maybe you would like to be a Lion? The Lions Club of Funkstown is looking for new members. They are a civic group that is composed of a group of members that are always there looking out for the community at large. The Funkstown Lions are supporters of the Day in the park/Battle of Funkstown and the Funkstown Olde Tyme Christmas Events to name a few. Car show / fireworks update
This sure has been the wettest year in recent memory but it looks like the weather might just cooperate for the car show and the fire works. The registration is 4-6pm show is 6-8pm with winners announced at 8:00. Fire works at dark. All happening this Sunday the 2nd.

Day in the park
Lots of things happened at the day in the park despite the rain. Link to the pictures is in the Day in the Park tab. The fireworks will be on Sunday the 2nd at dusk and the scouts will again be setting up the car show from 3-6pm to see if we will have time to enjoy the fine motor vehicles that mother nature ran off at the Day in the Park. Hope to see you all there for yet another day in the park.
