Yard waste pick up.

Just a reminder, Yard waste will be picked up from the first Tuesday in April to the last Tuesday in November. Please set it out Monday night.

Fire Company Support

Only 15.5% of the mailings that the Funkstown Fire Company has sent out have been returned. Please return your mailing with your donation. Anything is better than nothing when it comes to supporting YOUR fire company. If you no longer have the mailer just stop buy the Fire Hall and drop off your donation. With out your support it makes it extremely hard for the brave men and women of the fire company to have all of the supply’s and equipment that they need to come to your house for whatever emergency that you may have at the time. These brave folks will come for anything from a flooded basement to a fire to a fall down the stairs in any weather and at any time of the day and never question who you are or if you have donated before they come. Please help them have the items that they will need to help you by sending your donation now!

Trash/ Tree Pick up

Due to the weather on Monday morning and thinking of the safety of the waste company employees and customers we have delayed our service one day.  Funkstown will be serviced for trash on Friday and Christmas trees on Wednesday this week.

Be advised that you may experience short term water outages and or discolored water because of this work.
