As most of you know that park has some running/walking trails through the wooded areas. It is illegal to use motorized vehicles on these trails. Anyone caught on these trails will ban from the park and legal action will be taken. Please treat the park with respect so that it will be safe for everyone.

We just want to take a moment to thank Boy, troop, 23 and girl troop 123 from Funkstown for helping out with repairs in the park. The girls painted the wagon red on the playground and painted all the windows that were replaced in the barn that were broken out by vandals. The boys worked on replacing the broken pains of glass in the barn and replacing some of them with plywood covering. It was a long day work. Special thanks go out to town councilman Terry Feiser and his brother Evan for making some structural repairs to the barn due to rot.

Just a reminder that as of the first week of July on July 2nd yard waste and trash will be picked up on Wednesdays so please put them both out Tuesday night for Wednesday pickup. Thank you!
