NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the public health risks it presents, no in person attendance or testimony shall be permitted at the Public Hearing scheduled for April 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of considering an increase in the charge for new water and sewer connections within the Corporate Boundaries of the Town. In order to remain compliant with Maryland’s Open Meeting Act and the Town of Funkstown’s Emergency Ordinance regarding Compliance with said Act, comments, input, exhibits and/or other relevant information may be submitted in writing to the Town Manager, Brenda Haynes, via regular mail, priority mail, email, or hand delivery no later than 4:30p.m., April 13, 2020. Any such written comments, input, exhibits and/or other relevant information will be made a part of the record of the Public Hearing and considered by the Mayor and Council in deciding upon the proposed action. The public shall have the ability to listen to the Hearing which will be conducted via conference call through the Town’s Facebook commencing at 7:00 p.m.
